Form IV German

Some advice on improving your Reading skills.

  • Try to read a little every day.
  • Five minutes a day is better than an hour once a week.
  • If you do this, you will gradually become familiar with the most common words used in Standard Grade.
  • You will then be less reliant on your dictionary in exams. 
  • Finally, if you improve your reading skills, you will improve you listening skills at the same time.
Grammar Revision. A brief guide to some key points of German grammar.

Perfect Tense. Here is everything you need to know about using the Perfect Tense

Using the infinitive of verbs. Here you can learn about the use of "wollen", "sollen" etc.

Inseparabale Verbs. This sheet shows you how to use verbs with inseparable prefixes such as "besuchen", "erklären" etc.

 

Cases. This shows you how to use words such as "der" , "den", "dem" and looks at the differences between "mich" and "mir" etc.
